Dakota BUSINESS Finance assisted Hartford Sunshine, L.L.C. in purchasing the existing 16,250 sq. ft. building located on Highway 38 in Hartford. Merlin Goebel has been involved in managing the existing grocery store for the last eight years. With the assistance of supplemental financing provided by the South Eastern Development Foundation and Frontier Bank, Mr. Goebel also purchased the grocery store's operating company in addition to the real estate. Sunshine Foods is a well-established retailer in Hartford. The business sells typical grocery items including meats, deli foods, bakery items, dairy, frozen foods, floral, liquor, household items, and other general perishable food products. The store includes a bakery section that produces various bakery and hot food items. There is a seating area next to bakery as well. The participating lender was Frontier Bank. |
