October 15, 2009
Ramkota Hotel and Conference Center

Dakota BUSINESS Finance annually presents its “Lender of the Year” award to the lender that participates in the highest number of SBA 504 loans through Dakota BUSINESS Finance.  In 2009, Dakota BUSINESS Finance recognized MetaBank with this award.  Representing MetaBank in accepting the award were David Eiesland, Karen Waller, Tim Rustand, and Kathy Thorson.  The award was presented by Craig Hagen, Dakota BUSINESS Finance President and Lynne Keller Forbes, Dakota BUSINESS Finance Executive Director.

Each year, Dakota BUSINESS Finance also presents the “Friend of Dakota BUSINES Finance” award to the individual who refers the most loans to Dakota BUSINESS Finance.  Lenders and Dakota BUSINESS Finance Members are not eligible for this recognition.  In 2009, Dakota BUSINESS Finance presented Dan Hindbjorgan from the Sioux Falls Development Foundation with this award.
At its annual meeting, Dakota BUSINESS Finance was presented with the SBA Asset Builder Award for achieving the highest loan volume for SBA 504 loans in South Dakota in FY2009.  The award was presented by John Brown, SBA District Director.  Pictured (left to right), Shawn Pritchett, staff; Craig Hagen, President; Lynne Keller Forbes, Executive Director; John Brown, SBA District Director; and Amber Gibson, staff.
